Robert --
I'm agreed with all the reviewers here. I forwarded your piece on to all the teachers I work with. If I have time before Winedale I'm going to see if I can order copies for them as gifts. So thanks for sharing your reading with us.
It occurred to me this morning that I couldn't imagine reading that review in the Statesman. Part of what made it so vivid was how you took the time to give a hint of each contributor's breakthrough moment or emotional connection to the work (the James
Earl Jones image especially). So thanks, Robert, for all the years you have spent creating a home as a writer and artist in this arts community from which you can share the things you find important and life-giving. We all benefit from it!
Best,
Old Housemate

You've done the best thing a reviewer can, Robert--make us want the book.
Thanks, and Happy Birthday to all of us indeed, Doc!
Love,
