Isabelle, I think I've managed to have the program send you a randomly generated password that you can use. (You can change it later.) Let me know if this works.

I've already put you in digest mode -- you'll get one email with all
our messages once a day or so (more if there's a lot of traffic, which

Everyone I added manually to the mailing list has her own
computer-assigned password -- you just have to ask the mailing-list
web page to send you a "reminder" of what the password is, and then
you can change it to something you'll remember. You can do that at the
bottom of the registration page here:
