Thanks for sending this, Mike! It shouts WINEDALE. Thanks, Doc, for providing us with the space, time, time, confidence, and humor to create. We have amazing memories together, y'all, and we have also carried these principles of play with us into our individual lives and have generated art and community. Cleese's speech is validating, and it's a reminder to distinguish play from the mundane world--to set aside time and space for play and to give ourselves permission in that setting to make silly mistakes and try-try-try again for something real and original as we did at Winedale.
