Dear folks,

You may remember that in Doc's omnibus invitation for the Reunion Week festivities, he invited all Shakespeare at Winedale alums to drop in and visit during the week-long and weekend workshops. This is just a note to remind all of you considering a drop-in visit that *you're still invited to do this*. The Reunion workshop groups look forward to seeing you!

Some small cautions:

1) If you drop in mid-week, make sure to bring your own food or make plans to eat elsewhere -- we know the workshoppers are going to have food for the in-residence folks, but probably nothing extra to share during that time. (Of course it's hoped that everyone will eat together at the big group brunch and BBQ events on Saturday the 14th.)

2) You may want to avoid a "drop in" visit on Sunday the 8th or Monday the 9th -- the ancianos, ancient and slow of study as they are, may need the first couple of days to find their feet on the old stomping grounds. (The weekenders may need some time too -- you may want to email around and ask about the best times/days to visit.)

3) If you want to stay overnight during "drop-in" visits, or during the Reunion Weekend itself, you'll want to secure reservations at a hotel/motel/B&B nearby, if you haven't done so already. A good place to start is http://www.roundtop.org .

4) If you show up and have time to kill, be prepared to be dragooned into such tasks as running lines, watching scene work, etc. You may end up being used mercilessly. You know what that's like. Oh, and just to be clear -- you *will* be asked to run lines!

(Of course, you may be attending the regular summer performances on the 7th or 8th -- don't interpret any of these cautions with regard to the Reunion troupers to apply to your normal Winedale plans to view the current class's performances.)
