Oh, this is sad news.  I only just got to know Jose at the last reunion, and what fun it was to play with him.  He radiated. Delight. Joy. Love.  And what a lovely voice. 

Thank you, Don, and thanks to everyone for these recollections.  I am so sorry not to have a reprise reunion with Jose, sorry for his family, and for everyone feeling his loss today.

Thanks for sharing this hard news.  I'll always remember the great joy Jose created and shared with his Grumio and the good times we shared in Austin after Winedale.  When he was joyful it was always effectively infectious.  My life was better through knowing him.
