Happy Birthday, Doc.
I wish you all the best on the occasion of your 80th birthday!
Thank you for all you have done over the years touching so many lives in such a wonderful way. Through your leadership, many college kids like me were allowed the luxury of living intensely in the beautiful and poetic world of Shakespeare. Although the brief time spent at Winedale may have seemed like an escape into another world, it really was not so much of an escape as it was an introduction. Like all truly great learning experiences in life, the time spent at Winedale was an introduction to the wonders, beauty, poetry and drama of life. Thank you for the gift you gave to me and to so many others. God bless you!

Hi Doc,
I hear it's your 80th birthday. I certainly wish I could be there to congratulate you. I hope your 80th is a good one.
I am still over in Germany. Still doing music, but also studying mathematics. I am very happy. Also got married in 2011.
As you already know, Shakespeare at Winedale played a huge role in me becoming who I am. Without that experience there would be so much that I would be missing - and I wouldn't even know that I would be missing it. And I have that, thanks to you. To play's
the thing.
So thanks again, and have a happy birthday,
