RAICES
Our government calls it a “residential center.” The children call it La Perrera. The Pound.

Click the video below to follow the story of a young Honduran boy separated from his father at the border. He is our client, and he told us how it feels to be locked up in a cage.

Children in these facilities report that they are told nothing about their families. They are alone, with no one to comfort them when they cry.

Help us send lawyers to the remote locations where the children are held so that we can guide them through the asylum process. Help us hold the administration accountable when they contract with an organization to oversee these facilities that then waives FBI background checks for its employees. Help us get these children out of detention.

This holiday season, nearly 15,000 migrant children are still detained.Support RAICES’ work at these facilities when you make your contribution today. Donations of $10, $20, $50 or whatever amount you choose will make a difference in the lives of our clients. Let them know they are not alone.

Sincerely,

Mayra Jimenez
