Creating a Youth Writing Camp

Hey, friends, My college has asked me if I'd like to create and run a creative writing summer camp for high schoolers this summer. I have carte blanche with it and I'm thinking I'll start with a 3-day version focusing on reading and adapting *A Midsummer Night's Dream*. Carthage campus sits on the Lake Michigan shore and we'll be able to take advantage of the natural beauty. If any of you have experience running a young folks creative writing workshop or camp, I'd love to hear about your experiences and approaches! Cheers, Casey

Dear Friends! It’s Mary and Maggie with the mid-stream update on Camp Shakespeare's Hornraiser: 56 individual donors have blown past the original goal of $15,000 -- Camp is now just shy of $35,000! So why are we writing?? Doc and Robin Grace's dollar goal for this year has been richly met; the other goal, not: 250 donors to show the Development Department at UT just how wide and deep the river of support is for all things Winedale.
