• an informal Meeting at then venue or maybe anytime, anywhere besides the conference with all guys who are interested in the Project... talking about the Project, collaborations with other Projects, talking about recent travels or just have a drink. the presentation is limited to a small window of time a seperate Meeting could be nice ....

There is not the same forking issue as you had with Wikitravel. Vikidia
would be the main one to be adopted (french and spanish). The promoters
of Wikikids.nl didn't decide yet if they would join. However, if they
don't, there would be no point to fork their wiki and create another one
in dutch against their will.
However, there would be the Simple English Wikipedia issue, for which
there is already this page : Wikikids/Relation to Simple English
