The Wikivoyage logo poll is generating strong support for an option that looks extremely similar to the Meta-Wiki logo.  Several of us feel that this will create brand confusion and numerous problems down the road, but it still has strong support from folks who think that similarity – which in this case goes far beyond just the colors – is an asset.  Is there any way we can get WMF’s brand identity team (or whomever) to comment on whether such a logo would be acceptable, ideally before we get into stage 2 of the poll?
