Yes, I would love to have that tool!  I'm initiating, together with a teacher here in Sweden, a page for Swedish flipped classroom videos;

But at the moment it's rather difficult for teachers to share their videos on Commons they feel and most of them have already uploaded it to Youtube.

So a tool such as the one for Flickr would be totally awesome!

I'm not sure what mailing lists, but given YouTube supports publishing video with CCBy, it'd be nice to havesomething like the Flickr upload tool to Commons.
