Хто з членів нашої Спільноти готовий зконтактувати з  Nina Topishko (Archives Director) and try to establish a starting point of working together to 'free' photos and other materials in Ukraine?

В разі зацікавленості прошу інформувати мене, щоб можливо утворити групу зацікавлених осіб та зкоординувати зусилля.

Dear Yuri,

I have been given your name from Mathias Schindler (Wikimedia Gemany). I told him that I got an official letter from Central State CinePhotoPhono Archive of Ukraine named after H. Pshenychny (see attached). I had contacted this archive a few weeks ago about uploading a photo to Wikimedia Commons.
 
Their reply seems to me that one could try to establish a cooperation between Wikimedia Ukraine and this archive.

In Germany we have such cooperation with the Federal Archive (Bundesarchiv). See
http://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/German_Federal_Archives_case_study

Wikimedia Germany was able to upload thousands of photos to Commons in line with this cooperation. As far as I know Mathias has made a great deal of work to run the upload management.
 
I think it would be a good idea to contact Nina Topishko (Archives Director) and try to establish a starting point of working together to 'free' photos and other materials in Ukraine.
