It has been quite some time since the last update of an iOS App task to add zh-cn locale to the app (https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T363511), where the blocker task stated by the developer had been resolved. Given that this issue has a considerable impact on Simplified Chinese readers and shouldn't be difficult to fix, I kindly request any update or progress on this issue. Thank you.

Hey Diskdance.
Most of the team is currently out due to Thanksgiving in the US and other leave. We do tend to have reduced capacity throughout December but I'll follow up with them next week and establish what our next steps on this issue will be and provide an update on the ticket.
