In the connection settings, I put

Port 6667 (well, that was default)
Password : none (because I know not what I should
write)
At what command to put at login : I put nothing (I
have no idea what to put)
At what to write at logoff : I put nothing (I have no
idea what to put)
At Motd display : I put Display in dialogue (other
options don't post, or post to console)
+i invisible is checked
+w receive operator message is not
+s receive server message is not (these were options
per default)
In autoexecute : I put nothing (I do not know what to
put)
In short, this is all chinese to me.
