Could people please check the multi-language search at http://www.wikipedia.org/tools/wikisearch.php? I get at the moment all kinds of search results covering one another, making the result completely unreadable.

Besides it searches in fr.wikipedia.com and eo.wikipedia.com instead of *.org databases.

Never mind, it looks okay again now. Don't know what was going on.
As a completely different, yet for me related issue: Would it be possible to allow a subsequence word search? That would be quite useful for searching interlanguage links, since one could look for America, Amerika, Amerique and whatever other variations there are with Ameri*, or for Chemie, Chemics, Chemica etc. with chemi*. If it is possible but too slow, consider allowing it for title search only.

Subsequence word search would be definitely useful, however it might be also useful to translate query according to language of the database searched. We could use (in future ?) word and phrase equivalents (they are not necessarily translations) from interwiki links.

I tried it using "smith" as the search word, and clicking all languages on except English. This gave me two overlaps related to the Japanese and Korean wikis. If I remove one of those languages I get a single overlap; if I remove both the problem goes away.
I hope this helps.
