I think the code has enough scope of getting refined before it is very much
ready to be integrated, especially the client side code.
Also, I think it would be enough time during which I can write some code
for supporting multiple editors, while keeping the existing code robust.

sometime in April-June 2013. What will you be doing to avoid code rot
between now and then, to ensure that the VE team (including you) can
perform that integration 8 months from now?
