Hi.
How can I migrate to a shared source MW1.3.7 installation?
I noticed WP runs this way but I am not sure how to implement it.

Wikipedia actually runs on the CVS branch REL1_3A not 1.3.7.
If by shared-source you mean multi-wiki, check out my article on the subject at:
http://wp.wikidev.net/Wiki_farm
I put up symlinks to our apache configuration files at:
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Apache_config#Reference_implementation
The main thing is to read the manuals, learn how to use linux and apache, and to some extent, PHP.

I'm maintaining my own branch of mediawiki, which is explicitly designed for such installations. It also fixes some hostname-/ servername-bugs which prevented access behind a proxy or firewall.

Is this just the autodetection of $wgServer, or something else?
