There is now a new 'teampractices' mailing list to publicly discuss team
practices and processes in Wikimedia organizations (WMF, WMDE, etc), with a
focus on software engineering practices and methods, such as agile
methodologies.
If you are at all interested in discussing such things - including best
practices, looking for support for coping with some obstacle, are
agile-curious you should sign up:
https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/teampractices
The idea for this list was born during a scrummaster meetup at Wikimania
2013 while trying to figure out ways we can better support one another in
managing our team processes, and was further reinforced at the 'Team
Practices' workshop during Tech Days 2013 as a means to continue
collaboratively shaping best practices amongst our teams.
So, hop on board and help us continue to discover better ways to get stuff
done!
PS I've sent this to the wmf staff list and wikitech-l. If there's anywhere
else you feel this is appropriate to post, of course please do so :)
