We can display interwiki links ordered by language list in a MediaWiki message. Thus within each project it will be possible to adjust any uniform sorting: order by language names (latin names, then cyrillic, then hieroglyph...) or order by language codes or have ahead a few "major" languages.

And if this "MediaWiki:Interwikiorder" is empty then list will be formed like now.
