Hi All,
How is the translations box on Wiktionary (for example, see here: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/power) achieved? Is it some kind of template? What's the best way to do it?
Thanks,
JW
Hello,
The translation boxes are added by three templates[1], respectively starting the box, starting the second column in the box, and ending the box. Each box is given a "NavFrame" CSS class, which is used by custom JavaScript[2] to add the collapse/uncollapse feature.
[1] templates: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/template:trans-top & http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Template:trans-mid & http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Template:trans-bottom [2] JavaScript: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Monobook.js (search "toggleNavigationBar").
Yours cordially, Jesse Martin (Pathoschild)
