In the context of an educational project I would like to offer several case studies on a wiki, but these case studies should also be available in another database (=a database that is different from the wiki-database).

My question is: How can I set up a database that contains the description and elaboration of the case studies and that is linked to the wiki-database? Is it possible to connect them so that e.g. case studies which are written down in the wiki are automatically put in the case-study-database (or viceversa)? Has someone any experience with this?
