Log Message:
- (bug 8164) Special:Booksources should use GET for form submission
- Rewrite Special:Booksources to clean up interface and remove redundant code
Modified: trunk/phase3/languages/messages/MessagesEn.php
+# Book sources 'booksources' => 'Book sources', 'booksources-summary' => '',
booksources-summary is defined but not used at the special page. Could it be activated please?
See http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Booksources-summary and http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spezial:Booksources
Thanks a lot.
Raymond.

It seems to be redundant, what with "booksources-text", but since I don't read German all that well, I'm not sure whether I understand the purpose of the message right.

Please work out how to use your mail client, and read the message footers, where you'd notice that you're receiving this email because you're subscribed to our mailing list.
You'll even find information on how to reverse the procedure there.

Sorry for using the German text.
"booksources-summary" should only be used if someone goes to the special page directly: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spezial:Booksources?uselang=en
Maybe not very often but it's possible. In this case "booksources-summary" is a little summary about the whole purpose of this special page.
The German text (shortend) in English: "On this special page you can enter an ISBN to get a list of libraries and bookstores. Dashes and spaces are not relevant..."
On the result page "booksources-text" is enough.
Raymond.

Ah, I see...

Also the interwikis aren't displayed anymore on the resulting page. On nl.wikipedia and some other wikis we have interwikis including the MAGICNUMBER, so on Special:Booksources they are displayed as normal interwiki links to the page in another language with the same ISBN.
The source-page with the interwikis: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Boekinformatie

I'll look into this; I must have introduced a moderate regression somewhere.

D'oh, I'm such a moron sometimes. Yes, my fault, sorry. Fixing it now.

Right, that should be corrected as of r18469.
