Since it hasn't been done yet, We'll be branching the extensions for REL1_24 next Friday, Oct 10.

We're announcing this now because we will be publishing a list of extensions with their proposed branch point later today (Saturday, Oct 4). This is to avoid the problems we had last time and to allow extension developers to select a better branch point if they so desire.
