Hi, I have installed the mediawiki software that I downloaded from... http://wikipedia.sourceforge.net/ There is one drawback that prevents me from using it extensively. When I copy and paste text from Microsoft Word to wiki, it ignores the paragraph brakes. I remember using NL to br (New line to Break) command in php. Is there similar command/ option that can be used?

The solution is easy: Don't use Microsoft Word...
Seriously, though: Before copy & pasting, you can use Search & Replace in Word to replace each paragraph break with two paragraph breaks. It should work then.

The Search & Replace function is one of the most useful things about MS Word. You just have to avoid things with quotation marks which it insists on screwing up by changing to curly quotes.

MS Office Law number one: For every annoying default in MS Office products there is a place where you can turn it off. It's just VERY hard to find.
OK. Admitting that I am (among other things) a fully qualified Minesweeper Consultant and Solitaire Expert**: (This may depend on what version you're using.) - Tools - AutoCorrect - AutoFormat - Under ==Replace==, uncheck box "Straight quotes with smart quotes"
