As MariaDB is widely used in the MediaWiki ecosystem, including Wikimedia's infrastructure, I'm reaching out to this list with something that might be of interest.

We at MariaDB Foundation are running the first ever annual State of MariaDB survey, https://mariadb.typeform.com/survey-2025?utm_source=wikitech open for your input within October. We want to find out and share how people are using MariaDB in production.

We'll be putting together a public report with all the responses—including tools, versions, AI applications, challenges and feedback. The more answers the better. It's a chance to help shape MariaDB's roadmap, documentation priorities, and tooling development.
