So, I've seen the TomeRaider format downloads available for en.wikipedia.org and ilk, but I'm wondering: has anyone done any work on making Wikipedia (or, uh, other MediaWiki-based sites (*cough* *cough*)) work with Plucker?
I haven't used it, but it looks real real cool, and it's Free Software, too. So, y'know. Free and stuff. As in Freedom.
Anyways, I have some ideas for doing Plucker stuff with Wikitravel, and I wanted to see if I'm treading over old territory. I think that the TomeRaider stuff is pretty cool, but it's kinda heavyweight.
Because travellers usually have some inkling of where they're going, they don't really need the world-wide travel guide: just the articles for their destinations. I think for Wikitravel we'd want something like a "Plucker version" link next to the "Printable version", or something similar.
Anyways, just testing the waters.
