Hoi,
One way of dealing with fonts is not only providing them for real time
download but also for installation on the system. In this way we can provide
the best possible service. Also we do need a proper font for the languages
where the standard Latin fonts fail us !!

Since download time is a concern, we'd generally be looking for smaller
font sets, such as one that covers specifically the language of an
individual wiki, rather than high-coverage fonts like that or Code 2000.
(eg a Tamil font for
ta.wikipedia.org, a Canadian Aboriginal Syllabary
font for
iu.wikipedia.org, etc)
