Yep. But until that javascript is in *everyone*'s skin, it doesn't count as a solution. This is about encouraging everyone to get their links right, not just a few.
For some reason I wasn't really thinking of showing the link in a different colour (note the subject of this thread is "display...differently". A wiggly underline (probably not possible) or a little icon next to the link was more what I had in mind, but it doesn't matter.
