The problem with MP3 is it's patent-encumbered. Is Flash patented?
The only objections I've heard to it are that there are no decent free
players, so it's not possible to run most Flash on a free software
stack. If pains were taken to ensure that the Flash worked with
gnash, I don't think there would be a problem.
