Hi,
May i ask a simple question for wikipedia database?
Strictly speaking, it's not mediawiki database, but mediawiki(wikimedia)
dumps.
what is difference
between stub-meta-current and page-meta-current?
The stub version include
information about the article title, when was
edited, by whom, the summary given... but lack the content itself.
what is difference between meta-current and
meta-history, actually, i
know on is current revision and another is all revision, but still can't
make sense. Is that mean current revision exclude all deleted pages or
anything else?
Current has only the last revision. Ie. the page you see when visiting
the wiki.
Meta history includes all edits to that page, so it's much more large.
Deleted page are not included on any.
If deleted page are not included on, what is difference? Does Meta history
include all revisions? so does that mean Meta history has many repeated
edit in different revision? If i need the record of every valid edit with
time and username, which i can choose? meta-history or meta-current?
There's yet another difference, which is page vs
meta. Meta contains all
articles. Page only those useful to someone which wants the article
(such as excluding user pages).
