I am using german language (de) with unicode support. But I don´t
understand why the left alignement should be normal. At wikipedia´s
site (p.e.
http://de.wikipedia.org), at MediaWiki´s site
(
http://wikipedia.sourceforge.net) and most of the sites with user
styles you will find the upper right alignment of the personal toolbar
(user, login, watchlist and so on..) as default.
I tried to use Bluebox
(
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Gallery_of_user_styles#Bluebox), i.e.
bluebox.css as main.css of MySkin. It was working bad with the
settings site, but that skin correctly right-aligned the personal
toolbar. So the strange behaviour of my MediaWiki installation should
come from one file inside the monobook´s folder.
I didn´t find yet any answer, so I´m posting again.
