Brion doesn't seem to think much of it but I think it's very useful,
there are some people involved in development (including myself) who
haven't got things like a box on a static IP address to demonstrate
changes in MW to others. If there's shell access it has alot of other
potential uses such as running a public SQL query service on a
database dump which has been requested for some time now.
This sounds like a good plan. To elaborate on that maybe also a little
nice place where users and developers can work together on static
versions of Wikipedia(s) for any kind of purpose (DVD etc..) for
example.
In any case, I really believe we should take advantage of this offer
and not let it go by, just because it's good to know providers all
over the place ;-).
