You might consider going with an online clearinghouse for donations. I just did some quick research online and found the following:
http://www.networkforgood.org -- seems to be US-centric but tops in google http://www.justgive.org/ -- more international ? 3% cut http://www.guidestar.org/ - US non-profit database
I imagine that people might be happier or more peace of mind donating through such a system as opposed to paypal or whatever.
