Yes. there is clearly a problem: Recent Changes is called "Recent
Changes" in ENGLISH!
Restore the previous version. I will try to work out what has gone wrong.
Could it be that TextPad has killed the accented characters? I thought
it was a well-behaved text editor!
Or should ALL accented characters in the PHP source be written as
entities or Unicode codes? Could that be the problem?
