I agree. And this also applies in the small. A photo of the
Eiffel tower should not be tagged with the location of the tower,
but the photographer's location when she took that photo.
Well, there I don't agree. In my opinion the geolocation should give
the location of the objects that are on the photo, not of where it is
taken. Look at it from a usability point of view: I recently was in a
Hungary, and from an old castle on a hill next to the Danube River
took a picture of the village on the other side of the river. When
would someone like to use that picture in Wikipedia or a Wikibook or
whatever? When they're talking about the village, I assume. Much more
likely than that they would do so if they're talking about the castle.
