Dear GSoC & OPW candidates,
The deadline for submissions is approaching fast. Here you have some
tips to increase your chances:
* Draft your proposal publicly under your
mediawiki.org userpage. We
won't accept any proposal missing this basic requirement.
* Submit your draft proposal as soon as possible. Don't wait until the
last day.You can keep editing it until the deadline.
* Your submission must include links to your wiki page and the related
Bugzilla report.
* All the technical discussion must happen in your wiki page or the
related Bugzilla report. Private channels only for private questions.
* Show us your work. Prove your skills. Think of ways to get our trust.
A Wikimedia / MediaWiki contribution is a very tangible proof.
* Getting two co-mentors is better than getting one. We do our best
finding mentors. Your initiative finding your mentors is appreciated.
* GSoC students: keep your entry at
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Summer_of_Code_2013#Students up to date.
