The OAuth extension [0], which implements an OAuth server in MediaWiki, has been updated. OAuth is an industry-standard protocol for authorization. The OAuth extension now supports OAuth 2.0 [1] in addition to its previous support for OAuth 1.0a [2]. The updated extension version is now available on Wikimedia wikis, so OAuth 2.0 consumers may now be registered in addition to OAuth 1.0a consumers.
