Hmm. I'm thinking of classic articles like GWB that have been "worked
on" by thousands of contributors. Of course, some of those
contributors "worked on" it by "contributing" "bush is GAY"
etc.
On the other hand, people sometimes do "contribute" without ever
editing the article, by suggesting ways of restructing on the talk
page, doing a peer review etc.
This isn't a criticism of your feature, more of the GFDL requirements
in general.
