work for one single (long line) but not for a paragraph. That's why I
prefer much

IMHO blockquote is OK, as we do not have an equivalent in wiki markup.
We do, however, have wiki markup for lists, in which case wiki markup is
always preferred.
Same goes for tables (yes, the syntax is weird), <hr>, bold/italics, dd/dt.
