When I tried it, my Meta account had a different password than the
others. It was listed separately, saying that if I knew its password
I should enter it to have it merged too, otherwise it would be left
alone for now and it would be worked out later. Something like that.

Same here, for that particular situation.
However, I want to know how to handle another problem I have: at least one
of my accounts is named slightly differently. I'm [[user:Phil Boswell]]
nearly everywhere, but on Meta for one, I'm [[user:PhilBoswell]] (i.e.
CamelCase). I didn't notice any option for specifying further accounts with
different names to be unified.
