It also wouldn't be consistent with the behavior

other magic words, which is confusing.
A valid point, but simply renaming it <<CURRENTUSER>> or something
could solve that.
If you want to subst: a user name, it should be consistent with "~~~" and
"~~~~", etc.
We probably shouldn't start a NEW set of 'MYSTICWORDS' with <<>>
notation....
