Is there a function that will either strip or render Wiki markup in
the "excerpt" section the search results? It's unfriendly to give
users the markup in the results, but the excerpt itself is helpful in
judging a page's relevance.

In general, it's probably best if RELEASE-NOTES messages reflect
changes as visible to end users, since that's who they're there for.
The average end user isn't going to know or care what doBlockLevels()
does; they'll want a message like "Fixed handling of paragraph breaks
in <center>". Or at least that's my view.
Hi,
i change my hosting server and i try to import with utf8 and latin1 the
mysql db but the problem is still happening, the images that have accents
like Introdución or the links to another articles inside the wiki dissapear,
all appear in red link and dont go to the article, the name is correct in
the title but isnt inside.
Sincerally, Mafius.

Hello,
Could anyone tell me how we can reduce or at least translate this
message, shown for every connected user on wikipedias since several
minutes?
thanks
