I understand the impact of the other two maintenance operations. I'm a little confused about this one. You initially say this affects some wikis and give a list. But in the end you say, "This will affect all wikis". IIUC, you intend to say that as CentralAuth-based services are affected the impact might be (indirectly) observed on all wikis. Is that correct?

Yes, it is correct. Wikis I listed will be in read-only, all other wikis may see some disturbance.
Thank you for asking this. I always like to see someone asking if something is unclear!

I'm wondering if mediawikiwiki would also go read-only just like metawiki? I do not see it being mentioned anywhere in the linked phabricator ticket. It was not mentioned in your earlier e-mail, too.

Hello Kaartic
Mediawikiwiki is mentioned in the s3 list linked https://noc.wikimedia.org/conf/highlight.php?file=dblists/s3.dblist in the ticket.

Thanks for the link. I overlooked that in the ticket. Looks like the list of affected wikis is pretty long for the May 7 maintenance operation.

Hello!
We have a new set of wikis next week. As always, it won't be possible to edit, but it will still be possible to read the contents.
A banner will be set 30 minutes before each event.
*May 19 - Wikidata and several other wikis*
It will happen on Tuesday 19th May at 05:00 AM UTC, for 15 minutes.
While it targets Wikidata, services targeting Wikidata may not work during the meantime.
More information: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T251981
*May 21 - English Wikipedia*
It will happen on Thursday 21th May at 05:00 AM UTC, for 30 minutes.
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T251982
Please inform your communities about these read-only times!
Thank you, Benoît
