The Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees has recently approved a new sister project, temporarily titled "Abstract Wikipedia" [1]. Its goal is to generate baseline encyclopedic content in a multilingual fashion, allowing more contributors and more readers to share more knowledge in more languages. 

*Please help us translate the announcement on Meta [2] in your language(s). We'll be waiting some days for translations to be completed before proceeding with a Mass Message announcement to all the wikis. 

**If you can, please also consider starting or completing translations of the main project page itself [1].

*Please, help us spread the word locally on your favorite wikis to get your community involved in this new endeavour.
