I just wanted folks to get a heads up that starting next week, we'll be A/B testing new calls to register, directed at anonymous editors. These tests will be for at least one week on English, German, French, and Italian Wikipedias. 

I'm not sure it merits Tech News, since the delivery of the new UI is randomized and registered users will of course not see anything change.
