Hi Annie Lin, Hisham, Wikimedia India Chapter EC,
Mr.Puniyameen is a prolific writer as well as a valuable contributor to Tamil Wikipedia and has created several hundred articles.
Given that there are numerous schools and higher educational institutions in Sri Lanka where the medium of instruction is Tamil, he proposed a campaign across all such institutions committing his personal time as well as recruiting volunteers already. It would be great if he can be made a Regional Ambassador (http://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_Regional_Ambassadors) and provided necessary support from the foundation or the Wikimedia India Chapter. He wanted some sort of identification document that will help him talk to the representatives of the various educational institutions. Please help him.
Thanks and regards,
User:Sundar (in en, ta wikis)

Tamil Wiktionary(Also 10th largest Wiktionary project) is a perfect
candidate for this scheme since its "hassle free" in terms of effort (no
proof checking etc required) and bulk of the words(mostly
technical glossary) were from Tamil Virtual University. Let me dig more
into it.
