We've put out the first draft iterations of the new pagelist widget at Beta Wikisource . The draft iteration can be tested at https://en.wikisource.beta.wmflabs.org/w/index.php?title=Index:Wind_in_the_Willows_(1913).djvu&action=edit. A roadmap of what the widget is going to be able to do has been put up at Wikisource Pagelist Widget at meta.wikimedia.org. Please do give any feedback at the talk page. :)
