Hello!
As you know, now we are holding the 4th Election for Wikimedia Board
of Trustees. On meta there is the official election platform and all
candidates have question pages. There Drini of Spanish Wikiquote gave
an interested inquiry:
What's your stance regarding Wikiquote and copyrights? As it is, most
wikiquotes depend and extensively use fair use content, which is
contrary to the philosophy of most other projects. What are your views
on this? Should wikiquotes move to only free content? Should
resolution on fair use have a special exemption for wikiquote? Should
fair use be removed from Wikiquote after deadline for the resolution?

I scanned several candidates' answers, and found those suggestive. I
recommend you (so, you!) to read them. It may help for us to work on
required EDP for fair use. You are also invited to learn their idea
closely and vote who you think good for the Board :) Votes open till
July 7.
