Well, I guess it is similar to this mailing list... we don't really need it, but it is a good thing to have just in case...

Does anyone think that we need an OTRS http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/OTRS info queue for our Wikiquote projects?
In case anyone is not familiar with OTRS (Open-source ticket request system), it is basically the e-mail system for Wikimedia projects. For example, when you e-mail Wikipedia from its "Contact us" page < http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Contact_us%3E, it goes to OTRS and is received by specially selected volunteers who either
answer
the e-mail or forward it to the correct people. The types of items
found in
the e-mails can be anything from article problem rectification to
unblock to
a threat of legal action (and many other items).
I do not believe that we have a current need for it (we are only the
third
largest project), but others may think differently. The fact that we
did
not have a "Contact us" link in our sidebar on the English Wikiquote has come up and we did not really have a good answer for it. We may also
wish to
have one set up just in case or become familiar with it until a time
when we
grow large enough to actually need it.
I am waiting for your opinions on this matter, Casey Brown Cbrown1023 _______________________________________________ Wikiquote-l mailing list Wikiquote-l@lists.wikimedia.org http://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikiquote-l
As of now, all esquot tickets get into info-es (actually all spanish projects) we get about 10 tickets a day , so it's not like a large workload, but a split queue would also work fine
