Dear All,

The much awaited project Maithili Wikipedia has been approved by the Language Committee today. Please see https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Maithili
(some settings are still needed to proceed).

Now we have got the free and open encyclopedia in the second largest language spoken in Nepal.

I want to thanks each and everyone who contributed in the project. and also want to thank the Language committee for approving the project.
